I’ve had the honor of working with so many amazing couples and sometimes it feels like every one of them is the perfect wedding!
Andrea and Dan’s wedding was no exception. It had all the elements of my favorite kind of wedding: up north, intimate, lots of natural light, surrounded by friends and family and people I know!
These two have a beautiful love story and it was such a pleasure being a part of their private event up at their cottage. It was the perfect setting for their love story to start its next phase!
I love that it was simple, elegant, and super relaxed all at the same time. Beautiful personal touches and details like a s’mores bar and blankets to wrap up in if you got chilly and bistro lights hung through the trees-and a chandelier too!

P.S- In my opinion, first dance at sunset into dusk is the most magical, beautiful time when you’re right on a lake! Those beautiful deep blues paired with the bistro lights and their deep affection for eachother is truly magical!!!! I would photograph weddings like this every week and never get tired of it. So breathtaking and ephemeral and magical.
